Locating Alpine Sheep

Alpine Sheep inhabit the snowy mountain biomes added or updated by this mod, including Snowy Plains and Grove areas. They blend in with the snowy landscape, so scan the white terrain carefully. They're passive mobs that won't flee aggressively, making them easy to approach.

Collecting Wool

Use shears on an Alpine Sheep to harvest wool. Each sheep yields multiple wool blocks per shearing. Unlike regular sheep, Alpine Sheep produce wool variations suited to cold mountain climates—these may have different colors or textures reflecting their highland environment.

Breeding and Farming

Feed Alpine Sheep wheat to enter breeding mode. Two sheep in love mode will produce a lamb. You can establish a small farm in your mountain lodge to maintain a steady wool supply without constantly hunting wild herds.

The wool from these sheep works like standard Minecraft wool for crafting beds, carpets, and decorative blocks, but the alpine variants add visual variety to your cold-weather builds.
