Kaleidoscope Cookery is a small mod that adds Chinese-inspired cooking to Minecraft. The core loop is simple: gather ingredients, process them at the right station, and combine them into finished dishes.

Start by crafting a chopping board and a clay pot. The chopping board handles prep work like cutting meat into cuts and preparing ingredients, while the clay pot is used for soups, stews, and hotpot-style dishes. Tea is its own thread — tea bags such as Biluochun, Dong Ding Oolong, and Butter Tea are brewed into drinks, and dried tea leaves come from processing.

Staples include rice, noodles, dumplings, baozi, and zongzi, which can be built into larger meals like Beef Noodle, Braised Beef on Rice, or Buddha Jumps Over the Wall. Chili seeds let you grow your own heat. Cooked components like Cooked Rice, Cooked Meatball, and Cooked Meat Cuts feed into bigger recipes, so cook in batches rather than one dish at a time.
