Priority Rules

Minecraft applies packs from the top of the list downward, so the first pack to define a file wins. The compatibility addon must outrank both Whimscape and Fresh Animations, and those two must outrank any general-purpose pack.

Clean Setup Order

1. Whimscape x Fresh Animations (top)

2. Fresh Animations

3. Whimscape

4. Any UI, sound, or font packs (bottom)

Removing Conflicts

  • Disable packs that also change mob models, such as other animation packs.
  • Avoid running two texture packs that both restyle the same mobs.
  • After every change, reload with F3+T and inspect a few mobs.

When Nothing Works

Strip your list down to just the three required packs. If mobs then render and animate correctly, re-add your other packs one at a time until the problem returns — the last pack added is the culprit.
