Check for Built-in Compatibility

Motifity's GUI already includes custom styling for Simple Voice Chat and Mod Menu. If you're using these mods, the dark theme should apply automatically without extra steps.

Adding Support for Additional Mods

For mods not included in the pack, you may need to manually add GUI textures. Locate the mod's GUI texture files in your resource pack and create matching dark-themed versions in Motifity's GUI folder structure.

Follow the same folder hierarchy as the original mod:

  • assets/[modid]/textures/gui/

Testing Compatibility

Open the mod's screens in-game to verify the dark theme applies. If textures don't load, double-check the folder path and file names match exactly (including capitalization).

For mods with complex custom UIs, you may need to create additional JSON files to style buttons, text, and backgrounds. Consult the mod's texture documentation for the correct file structure.
