Spotting Special Items

When you loot chests or defeat dungeon mobs in Roguelike Dungeons, rare items now display custom glowing textures instead of plain default icons. This makes treasures instantly recognizable without checking item tooltips.

What to Look For

Novelty items, collectible trading cards, and custom potions all have distinct animated or glowing artwork. Trading cards feature colored rarity borders—higher rarity tiers have more prominent glowing effects. Special potion bottles show unique custom art that differs from standard Minecraft potions, making dungeon brews easy to spot at a glance.

Finding Items Faster

When opening dungeon chests, scan your inventory for items with unusual visual effects or bright borders. Items carried by dungeon monsters also display these custom textures from a distance, letting you identify valuable drops before combat ends. Paintings and special books also receive distinct cover art, so they stand out among regular loot.

Organizing Your Haul

Sort glowing items into separate inventory slots or containers to keep track of what you've found. This prevents accidentally mixing rare collectibles with common gear.
