What This Mod Does

Better Vanilla Building is a small, focused mod that expands the vanilla building palette. Its purpose is to give builders more options using the same materials and style they already know from vanilla Minecraft, rather than introducing a new aesthetic.

The mod adds extra wood variants and decorative blocks, along with placeable items such as fences, signs, doors, and terracotta. This means you can build with familiar wood types in more ways, filling in gaps that vanilla leaves open.

The item and block lists cover a wide range of vanilla-style entries, from doors, buttons, fences, fence gates, signs, hanging signs, logs, planks, and trapdoors across wood types like acacia and birch, to decorative and utility blocks such as andesite, anvil, and terracotta.
