Using the Added Content

Better Vanilla Building keeps everything in the vanilla style, so the new content behaves like the blocks and items you already use. The added wood variants follow the familiar pattern of logs, planks, doors, trapdoors, buttons, fences, fence gates, signs, and hanging signs, letting you match any build's existing wood type.

Decorative and utility blocks round out the set. Terracotta and andesite give you more building texture, while blocks like the anvil and activator rail serve their usual functions. Placeable items such as fences, signs, and doors are included so you can detail structures the same way you would with vanilla materials.

The wiki also lists many food and misc items, including apples, cookies, cake, cooked meats, soups, buckets, and blaze-related items. These appear alongside the building content, so check the items and blocks sections of the wiki to see exactly what is available before planning a build.

Since the mod only adds content, it should not change how existing vanilla blocks work.
