Locating Restyled Items
The resource pack doesn't just change boss models—it completely repaints all items associated with the Bosses of Mass Destruction mod. This includes magic wands and equipment dropped by defeated bosses.
Finding Items in Your Inventory
When you obtain boss drops or craft magic wands:
- In-hand appearance: Magic wands now display custom 3D models when held, making them visually distinct from vanilla items
- Inventory view: All boss-related items show new custom textures that match the updated boss aesthetic
- Consistency: Item textures coordinate with their source boss—drops from the Night Lich match its new appearance, for example
These visual updates help you quickly identify which boss a particular item came from and reinforce the mod's cohesive art style. The custom textures make boss loot feel more rewarding and visually satisfying compared to default textures.
