Creating Peace Zones for Roleplay or Survival

Some servers want safe zones where players can't fight each other. World Guard lets you turn off PvP in specific regions and even auto-heal players.

Turning Off Player Combat

1. Create or select a protected region where you want peace enforced.

2. Disable PvP within that region. Players won't be able to damage each other with weapons or projectiles.

3. Test by attempting to hit another player—damage should not register.

Adding Automatic Healing

1. In the same region, enable healing. Players inside will slowly regenerate health over time.

2. Configure the healing rate if options are available. This creates a sanctuary where players recover from damage.

Practical Uses

Peace zones work well for spawn areas, towns, markets, or roleplay hubs. Combine PvP disabling with fall damage protection and Wither damage blocking to make truly safe spaces. Players can still gather resources and build freely—they just can't harm each other or take environmental damage.
