How Villager Respawning Works

Villagers Respawn Mod uses the beds that villagers already claim to bring them back after death. When a villager with a bed dies, they respawn at that bed just like a player would, returning with full health. They also keep almost all of the experience they had before dying, losing only a small amount rather than a full level.

Respawn chance depends on difficulty. On Easy mode, villagers always respawn. On Normal and Hard, they almost always do.

The main exception is Hard mode: villagers killed by zombies become zombie villagers instead of respawning. This conversion can be disabled or adjusted through the mod's customization options, so you can decide how much danger your villagers face.

If a villager has no bed, there is nothing for them to respawn at, so make sure your villagers are properly housed.
