How to Craft Every Staff of Building

Crafting the Basic Staves

The Wooden Staff of Building, Stone Staff of Building, Iron Staff of Building, Golden Staff of Building, and Diamond Staff of Building are all made with shaped crafting recipes. Place the staff material in the pattern your recipe book shows for the Staff of Building, then collect the finished staff from the result slot. Each tier uses its own material: planks for the Wooden Staff of Building, cobblestone or stone for the Stone Staff of Building, iron ingots for the Iron Staff of Building, gold ingots for the Golden Staff of Building, and diamonds for the Diamond Staff of Building.

Upgrading to Netherite

The Netherite Staff of Building is not made at a crafting table. It uses a smithing recipe, the same station you use to upgrade netherite gear. Combine your Diamond Staff of Building with a netherite ingot and the smithing template your recipe book lists for the staff. The diamond staff is consumed and replaced by the Netherite Staff of Building.

The Infinite Staff of Building

The Infinite Staff of Building is the top of the line. It is produced through the mod's crafting recipes rather than a smithing upgrade. Check your recipe book for the exact ingredients, but expect it to require the highest-tier staff plus additional rare materials. If you already own a Netherite Staff of Building, keep it until you can assemble the Infinite Staff of Building, since it removes the need to carry replacement materials.
