Access the Configuration Menu
Click directly on the yellow splash text while on the main menu, or open the settings through Mod Menu. This launches the Splash Changer configuration screen.
Write and Format Your Message
In the text input field, type your custom splash line. To add colors and effects, use MiniMessage formatting tags:
- Gradients:
<gradient:color1:color2>Your text</gradient> - Rainbow text:
<rainbow>Your text</rainbow> - Single colors:
<color:red>Your text</color> - Bold/Italic:
textortext
You can combine multiple tags for complex styling.
Insert Player Name
Use the %name placeholder anywhere in your splash text to automatically display your current player name. For example: Welcome, %name! will show your actual username when the splash appears.
Save and Test
Apply your changes through the settings menu. If it doesn't show immediately, restart the game to refresh the splash rotation.
