Slyde Mod removes the slider cap on render distance, allowing you to load chunks far beyond the normal limit for a wider view of your world.

1. Open mod settings or your game options

2. Locate the render distance or view distance field

3. Enter a higher value than the standard maximum

4. Apply changes and return to your world

Higher render distance dramatically increases CPU and GPU load
Very high values (50+ chunks) may cause severe lag or stuttering
Your frame rate will drop noticeably; adjust gradually and monitor performance
Extremely high render distance can cause memory issues and crashes
Start at modest increases (20–30 chunks) and test before going higher
Reduce other graphics settings (shadows, particles) if you want extreme render distance without crashing
Useful for scenic screenshots or building large projects, but not practical for normal gameplay
