Paintings ++ replaces the vanilla painting placement with a selection screen. When you place a painting, the mod opens a menu showing the available artworks instead of picking one at random. You browse the options and click the painting you want, and it is placed on the wall.

The screen also lets you cycle through paintings. This is useful when a wall fits several sizes or when you want a specific piece but cannot recall its name. Because the selection is manual, you no longer need to break and replace a painting repeatedly hoping for the right result.

Paintings shown in the menu come from the mod's own set plus any added through resource packs, so the list reflects whatever artwork is currently loaded. If a painting does not appear, check that its resource pack is enabled.
