Dial Basics
Dials are reusable tools crafted through the smithing_dial recipe type. The dial family includes
Axe Dial,
Breath Dial,
Eisen Dial,
Flame Dial,
Flash Dial,
Impact Dial,
Milky Dial, and
Reject Dial. Several of these also exist as placeable blocks, so you can mount them in a base or trap.
Crafting a dial uses the smithing_dial process rather than a normal crafting table grid. Gather the base materials first, then run them through the smithing setup to produce the dial item.
Using Each Dial
- Axe Dial: melee-oriented, useful as a weapon component.
- Breath Dial: stores and releases air.
- Eisen Dial: blade-related utility.
- Flame Dial: releases fire.
- Flash Dial: produces a blinding burst.
- Impact Dial: absorbs and returns force.
- Milky Dial: releases a milky substance.
- Reject Dial: a high-output dial with heavy recoil.
Place dials as blocks where you want a fixed effect, or keep them as items for on-the-go use. Combine dials with weapons and tools from the registry — the
5t Hammer,
Bazooka,
Flintlock, and
Cannon all pair well with a dial-based loadout.
