Why Descriptions Don't Appear

If you're not seeing enchantment descriptions in JEI:

1. Verify the book format: Ensure you're hovering over a book with only one enchantment. Multi-enchanted books won't display info.

2. Check mod compatibility: The mod must have language entries defined for that enchantment. Custom or third-party enchantments may lack descriptions.

3. Confirm JEI is updated: Make sure JEI itself is properly installed and functioning.

Adding Missing Descriptions

If an enchantment lacks a description, you can add one by creating or editing the appropriate language file with the correct entry format. This is especially useful for enchantments from mods that don't include built-in descriptions.

Restart your game after making changes to language files.
