Understanding the Blacklist File
The Item Obliterator mod uses a blacklist file to decide which items get destroyed. Instead of listing every single item you want gone, the file is split into separate lists, each serving a different purpose. One list might cover items removed on pickup, while another handles items cleared in other situations. Check the configuration section of your instance to find the file and see which list applies to your goal.
The real power comes from how entries are written. Rather than naming one item at a time, you can use regular expressions so a single entry matches a whole family of items sharing a pattern. Component matching goes further, letting an entry target items based on their data components, so only specific variants are affected while others pass through untouched. Together these two features mean a short blacklist can cover a large number of items without listing each one individually.
