Accessing Particle Settings

Open the mod configuration and locate the Particle Effects or Particle Limiter section. This feature monitors your current frame rate and automatically adjusts how many particles appear in real time.

Setting Particle Limits

You can manually cap the maximum number of particles allowed on screen. Lower caps mean fewer visual effects from explosions, enchantments, potions, and environmental effects like rain or fire.

If you want to preserve visual quality, set a higher limit. If frame rate is your priority, reduce it significantly. The mod will still show particles—just fewer of them.

Dynamic Adjustment

The mod's smart cleanup can automatically reduce particles when your frame rate drops below a target threshold. This keeps gameplay smooth without requiring manual adjustment.

Test this by creating fire, using potions, or triggering explosions. You'll notice particles disappear more quickly or appear less densely when limits are active. Disable particle limiting temporarily if you need full visual effects for a specific task.
