How to Craft Storage Disks from Storage Parts

Build the parts first

Every tier of disk in this mod is assembled from a matching Storage Part. You need one part per disk, plus an Advanced Storage Housing to hold it. The parts exist at these tiers: 256k Storage Part, 1024k Storage Part, 4096k Storage Part, 16384k Storage Part, 65536k Storage Part, 262m Storage Part, 1048m Storage Part, and Infinite Storage Part.

Assemble the disk

Combine the Storage Part with an Advanced Storage Housing in a crafting grid to produce the matching disk: 256k Storage Disk, 1024k Storage Disk, 4096k Storage Disk, 16384k Storage Disk, 65536k Storage Disk, 262m Storage Disk, 1048m Storage Disk, or Infinite Storage Disk. The housing is the shared component, so craft several housings before you start a batch.

Place the block form

Each disk also has a block form: 256k Storage Block, 1024k Storage Block, 4096k Storage Block, 16384k Storage Block, 65536k Storage Block, 262m Storage Block, 1048m Storage Block, and Infinite Storage Block. Use the block when you want the capacity mounted in the world rather than carried as an item.

Progression note

Higher tiers use the same housing and part pattern, so once you can make one tier you can scale up by producing the next part. The Withering Processor and Raw Withering Processor are involved in the higher-tier part chain, so plan a processor supply before chasing the largest disks.
