Troubleshoot Missing Outlines on Entities

Verify Entity Type is Whitelisted

Open the entity whitelist menu and confirm the entity type you're aiming at is toggled on. Outlines only appear for enabled entity types. If you're looking at an item frame but item frames are disabled, no outline will show.

Check Your Aim

Ensure you're aiming directly at the entity's hitbox. Move your crosshair until it centers on the entity—the outline should appear when your aim is precise. Some entities like leash knots have small hitboxes, so aim carefully.

Confirm Entity Compatibility

The mod highlights item frames, paintings, armor stands, leash knots, end crystals, and custom decorative entities from compatible mods. If you're looking at a different entity type, it won't receive an outline.

Restart if Needed

If outlines still don't appear after checking the whitelist and your aim, try reloading your world. Client-side mods occasionally need a fresh load to apply settings correctly.
