Why Farm Ender Pearls?

Ender Pearls are essential for crafting Eyes of Ender, which are needed to locate and activate End Portals. They are also used in various recipes from other mods. Relying on Endermen for pearls can be dangerous and slow. The Ender Crop mod offers a safe, renewable source. By growing Ender Seeds, you can produce pearls without combat. This is especially useful in skyblock or peaceful-mode worlds where Endermen may not spawn.

Scaling Up Production

To get a steady supply, start with a small plot of Ender Seeds. Harvest the pearls and use some to craft more Ender Seeds. Each Ender Seed requires one Ender Pearl, so you need to balance replanting with keeping pearls for other uses. A good strategy is to dedicate a portion of your farm solely to seed production: harvest those crops and turn all pearls into new seeds until you have a large field. Then, switch to harvesting for pearls. You can also use growth accelerators like bone meal or a modded growth lamp. If you have other mods, consider using a farming station or automated user to handle planting and harvesting. With a large enough farm, you can produce stacks of Ender Pearls, making Eye of Ender crafting trivial. Remember to keep the farm chunk loaded if you want it to grow while you are away.
