Common Growth Issues

If your Ender Seeds are not growing, check the following: the farmland must be hydrated—either by water within a few blocks or by rain. The light level must be at least 9, so place torches or glowstone nearby if growing underground. Also, ensure you are not standing on the crop, as that can trample the farmland and uproot the plant. If the crop is stuck at a particular stage, it may be due to a lack of random ticks; in some modded environments, the growth speed can be affected by the biome or dimension. Ender Crops are known to grow in the Overworld, but they may grow slower in other dimensions. Bone meal can be used to instantly advance the growth stage, but it may not work if the crop is already fully grown.

Harvesting Problems

When you break a mature Ender Crop, you should receive Ender Pearls. If you are not getting any, make sure the crop is actually mature—it will have a different texture, often with a glowing or purple appearance. Breaking it prematurely will only yield seeds or nothing. Also, check that your inventory is not full. If you are using a tool with Silk Touch, it may drop the crop block itself instead of pearls; use a normal tool or your hand. If you are farming automatically, ensure your collection system is working: hoppers must be pointed correctly, and chests must have space. Finally, if you are on a server, check that the mod is installed on both client and server, as missing mods can cause crops to not behave correctly.
