Troubleshooting a Click Machine That Isn't Clicking

You placed the Click Machine, aimed it, and nothing is happening. Work through these checks in order before rebuilding anything.

Check the Aim and the Face

This is the most common problem. The machine's working face has to point at the target block or interface. If you placed it facing the wrong way, break it and replace it so the correct side touches the target. A machine clicking empty air will look identical to a broken one.

Check the Click Mode

Left click and right click do different things. If you're trying to use a tool or open an interface, you need right click. If you're trying to break or attack, you need left click. Open the interface and confirm the mode matches your goal.

Check Activation

Many setups need a redstone signal or a specific activation state before the machine runs. Confirm it's actually powered or enabled, and that nothing is cutting the signal.

Check the Interval

If the delay between clicks is set very long, it can look like the machine is doing nothing when it's simply waiting. Shorten the interval and watch for a full cycle.

Check the Target

If the target block can't be broken without a tool, or the interface doesn't accept the click, the machine will click with no visible effect. Verify the target actually responds to a manual click first.
