Breaking the same block over and over is tedious, and the
Click Machine exists to remove that tedium. This guide covers using it in left-click mode to keep breaking a target.
Positioning for Left Click
Place the machine so its working face points at the block you want broken. Switch the click mode to left click in the interface. The machine will now swing at that block the same way your character would.
What You Need to Know
- The machine only clicks what it's aimed at. If the block breaks and nothing replaces it, the machine has nothing left to hit.
- For continuous breaking, the target needs to keep being there, either because it regenerates, because something places it back, or because you're cycling through a row of blocks.
- Tools matter. If the block requires a specific tool to break or drop anything, make sure that requirement is satisfied, or you'll get clicks with no useful result.
Timing the Clicks
Set the interval to roughly match how long the block takes to break. Clicking far faster than the block can break just wastes cycles; clicking too slowly leaves the machine idle between breaks.
Testing First
Run it on one block and watch a full cycle. Confirm the block breaks, confirm drops appear if they should, then scale the idea up to a row or a farm layout.
