Harvesting Emeralds from Villagers

Villagers now drop emeralds when killed, offering an alternative to trading for this valuable currency.

2. Kill villagers using your preferred method (sword, fall damage, or mob grinder)

3. Collect the emerald drops

Considerations

While this provides emeralds, remember that trading with villagers is usually more efficient for obtaining specific items. Killing villagers destroys the trading opportunity, so use this method only when you have excess villagers or don't need their trades.
