How to Get the Eternal Steak in the Artifacts Mod

Finding It in Loot

The Eternal Steak is not crafted at a normal crafting table. In the Artifacts mod, most artifacts are found as loot rather than made, and the Eternal Steak follows that pattern. Your realistic sources are:

• Dungeon and structure chests — explore mineshafts, dungeons, desert temples, jungle temples, strongholds, and similar generated structures. Artifacts are seeded into these loot tables.
• Mimic kills — the mod adds a Mimic, a hostile chest-like mob that ambushes you when you try to open it. Mimics drop artifacts, so treat every suspicious chest as a potential fight.
• Campsite / archaeology style loot if your version includes it — check any mod-added structure chests.

Practical Tips

Bring a decent weapon before opening chests in unexplored structures, because a Mimic can catch you off guard. Once you have the steak, it goes in your inventory like any other item. Because it is an artifact, you cannot duplicate it with a normal recipe — you either find another one or trade for it on a server. If you are playing with friends, ask whether anyone has a spare before grinding more structures.
