Check your installed mods
Copper Tanks require copper ore, which comes from Industrial Craft, Forestry, or ThermalDynamics. Silver Tanks need silver ore, only added by ThermalDynamics. If you don't have these mods, you cannot craft these tank tiers.
Verify ore dictionary registration
Iron Tanks uses the Forge ore dictionary, meaning it recognizes copper and silver from any mod that registers them properly. If you have a mod that adds these ores but the crafting recipe doesn't work, check that the mod is loading correctly and that there are no mod conflicts.
Install a compatible mod
If you want Copper or Silver Tanks but lack the required ores, install one of the mods listed above. ThermalDynamics is the most straightforward choice since it adds both copper and silver ore, plus many other useful machines and pipes that work well with Iron Tanks.
Craft once ores are available
Once the ore is in your world, you can craft the corresponding tank using the recipe shown in the mod's crafting guide.
