Choosing Your Pump
GregTech includes advanced pumps that can extract fluids from large areas and reach deep into the world. Select a pump model based on your needs—basic pumps work for small tasks, while industrial pumps handle massive fluid extraction.
Placement and Configuration
Place the pump at the edge of the water source or fluid you want to extract. The pump will drain fluids in a radius around it, so position it strategically to cover your target area. Some pumps can be configured to adjust their extraction range.
Connecting Fluid Pipes
Attach fluid pipes to the pump's output port. Route these pipes to your destination—storage tanks, processing machines, or disposal areas. Use different pipe types for different fluids if needed.
Power Supply
Connect energy cables to the pump's power input. The pump consumes EU continuously while operating, so ensure stable power delivery. A single turbine or generator can typically support one or two pumps.
Automation Tips
Use fluid tanks to buffer extracted liquids, preventing overflow. Consider adding valves or gates to control flow rate and prevent backups in your pipe network.
