Create an Efficient Ore Processing Line with Multiblock Machines
Planning Your Production Chain
Multiblock machines in GregTech are specialized processors for different materials. Identify which ores you want to process—copper, tin, iron, or rare materials—and determine which multiblock machines handle each step (crushing, smelting, alloying).
Building Multiblock Structures
Each multiblock machine requires a specific arrangement of casings, hatches, and a controller block. Gather the necessary materials and assemble them in the correct configuration. The controller block will confirm when the structure is valid.
Setting Up Item Flow
Attach item input hatches to receive ore from hoppers or item pipes. Connect output hatches to direct processed materials into chests or further machines. Use conveyor belts or item pipes to move materials between different processing stages.
Powering Your Line
Connect energy cables to the power input hatches on each machine. Ensure your power supply can handle simultaneous operation—multiple machines running together consume significant EU. Start small and expand as your energy generation increases.
Automate the entire chain so materials flow continuously without manual intervention.
