Building with Sod
Because Grass Overhaul provides slabs, stairs, and patches for each sod material, the main use is shaping ground that would otherwise be flat and blocky. Slabs let you step terrain down gradually. Stairs let you build gentle inclines, banks, and mounds. Patches sit flush against other blocks for finer surface work.
The material list covers grass, dirt, podzol, mycelium, path, and both crimson and warped nylium. That means you can carry the same building approach from an overworld garden into a Nether-themed build without switching to unrelated blocks. A
path sod slab, for example, can edge a walkway, while a mycelium sod stair can soften a cave floor.
Since the mod only adds these sod forms, it stays simple: pick a ground material, pick the shape you need, and place it. No new crafting systems or mechanics are required beyond the blocks themselves.
