Locating Rebuilt Villages and Illager Structures

Grand Capitals replaces vanilla villages and illager structures with larger, more structured builds. Instead of the familiar scattered houses, you will find settlements laid out in districts, with distinct areas serving different purposes within the same location.

Because these structures are rebuilt versions of existing vanilla ones, you find them the same way you would find a normal village or illager structure: by exploring the world. They generate in place of their vanilla counterparts rather than as separate additions, so any method you already use to locate villages or illager buildings will lead you to a Grand Capital.

When you arrive, expect a more deliberate layout than vanilla. Districts separate different functions of the settlement, so it is worth walking the whole area rather than stopping at the first building. Loot is distributed across the structure rather than concentrated in one spot, so check the different districts before moving on.

If you use other mods that alter village or illager generation, expect compatibility to depend on how those mods change the same structures.
