Understanding Piglin Behavior
Piglins normally attack players who aren't wearing gold armor. With this mod, you can bypass that requirement by wearing even a single piece of gilded armor—no need for a complete golden set.
Equip Your Gilded Piece
Put on any gilded armor piece you've crafted. This can be a helmet, chestplate, leggings, or boots. The Piglins will recognize the gilded material and treat you as non-hostile.
Explore the Nether Safely
With gilded armor equipped, you can:
- Walk through Piglin settlements without fear
- Loot chests and mine gold near Piglins
- Interact with the Nether more freely
Mixed Armor Sets
You don't need to gild your entire armor set. Wearing just one gilded piece is enough to prevent Piglin aggression, so you can mix gilded and non-gilded armor for flexibility. This is especially useful if you're using powerful modded armor pieces that you want to keep while adding Piglin protection.
