Plan Your Gilded Pieces

Before heading to the Nether, decide which armor pieces to gild. You only need one gilded piece for Piglin pacification, but gilding multiple pieces gives you flexibility if you lose or swap gear.

Prepare for Nether Hazards

Gilded armor protects you from Piglins but not from other Nether dangers like fire, lava, or hostile mobs. Combine your gilded pieces with appropriate enchantments (Fire Protection, Blast Protection) for comprehensive defense.

Efficient Looting Strategy

With Piglins pacified, you can:

• Mine gold ore near Piglin settlements
• Loot bastions and other structures without constant threats
• Trade with Piglins if the mod supports it
• Focus on resource gathering rather than combat

Backup Plans

Carry spare Golden Cores if possible, in case you need to gild replacement armor mid-expedition. Keep your gilded pieces in good condition—repair them at an anvil before they break, as losing them leaves you vulnerable to Piglin attacks again.
