How to Create Gilded Armor

Gather Your Materials

You'll need two things: a piece of armor (vanilla or from any mod) and a Golden Core. The armor can be any type—helmet, chestplate, leggings, or boots—and from any mod that adds armor pieces.

Apply the Golden Core

Place your armor piece and Golden Core together in a crafting grid or use the mod's designated crafting method. The exact recipe depends on your mod version, but the result is always the same: your armor transforms into a gilded variant with a distinctive golden appearance.

Verify the Transformation

Once crafted, your new gilded armor will have a visual indicator showing it's been treated. You can now equip it safely around Piglins without triggering aggression. The gilded effect applies to the specific piece you crafted—you don't need a full set to gain protection from Piglin attacks.

Tips

You can gild armor pieces one at a time as you obtain them, mixing gilded and non-gilded pieces in your loadout. This flexibility makes the mod useful for both early-game and late-game play.
