Upgrades are installed into the Industrial Apiary to modify its behavior. Most upgrades increase power consumption.
Apiary Upgrades

| Humidity (Dryer/Humidifier) | Lowers/Raises humidity by 25% per card. | 8 |
| Biome Emulation | Forces the apiary to act as a specific biome (Hell, Desert, etc.). | 1 |
| Genetic Stabilizer | Prevents Ignoble bees from dying out. | 1 |
| Open Sky | Allows bees to work without direct sky access. | 1 |
| Seal | Allows bees to work in rain. | 1 |
| Light | Allows bees to work at night. | 1 |
Machine Covers
Covers can be applied to the sides of Gendustry machines to add utility.
- Import Cover: Automatically pulls items from adjacent inventories
- Eject Cover: Automatically pushes items to adjacent inventories or pipes
- Error Sensor Cover: (Industrial Apiary only) Emits a redstone signal if the apiary has an error (e.g., "No Flowers")
