Surviving the Cold

FrostCraft turns Minecraft into a winter-survival experience built around temperature. Instead of ignoring the cold, your character is affected by it, so staying warm becomes a core part of play rather than an afterthought.

To get started, treat warmth as a resource you manage the same way you manage hunger. Seek shelter, avoid prolonged exposure to freezing conditions, and plan your travel around sources of heat. The mod's temperature mechanics mean that wandering unprepared into cold biomes or snowy terrain can put you at risk.

Beyond survival, FrostCraft adds freezing weaponry and unique arctic entities. These give you reasons to explore the frozen world rather than avoid it, and they reward players who learn to work with the cold instead of fighting it.
