Enhance Bloom on Light Sources
Locate Bloom Settings
Access the Flux Shaders configuration menu from your video settings. Find the bloom or glow section—this controls the soft light effect around luminous blocks.
Adjust Bloom Intensity and Radius
Modify the bloom parameters:
- Bloom Strength: Increases or decreases how bright and visible the glow effect is around light sources like lanterns, glowstone, and torches.
- Bloom Radius: Controls how far the bloom effect spreads from the light source. Larger values create a softer, more diffuse glow.
- Bloom Threshold: Some versions let you set which brightness level triggers bloom, allowing you to fine-tune which blocks glow.
Optimize for Your Build
Apply changes and navigate to areas with many light sources—your base, a lit pathway, or a decorated structure. Increase bloom strength for dramatic nighttime lighting that makes your builds feel more atmospheric. Reduce it if bloom feels overwhelming or washes out details. The bloom effect pairs well with colored lighting, so your torches and lanterns will cast appropriately tinted glows onto nearby blocks.
