Adjust Fog Distance and Intensity
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the key bound to shader settings (usually accessed through video settings or a dedicated keybind). Look for the Flux Shaders configuration panel.
Customize Fog Parameters
Locate the fog-related sliders in the settings menu. You can adjust:
- Fog Distance: Controls how far you can see before terrain fades into fog. Increase this value to see further, or decrease it for a denser, more atmospheric effect.
- Fog Intensity: Adjusts how opaque the fog appears. Higher values create thicker fog that obscures the horizon more dramatically.
- Fog Color: Some versions allow you to tint the fog to match your preferred sky aesthetic.
Apply and Test
Save your changes and observe how the fog behaves in different biomes and times of day. The cinematic fog effect will blend differently depending on your sky gradient settings. Experiment with lower fog distances in dense forests for a more claustrophobic feel, or increase distance in open plains for expansive views. Test during sunrise and sunset to see how the colored sky interacts with your fog settings.
