Tame and Use the Bloomed Spider

Finding and Taming Bloomed

The Bloomed is a gentle spider with a distinctive flower that spawns naturally in forest biomes. Unlike regular spiders, it won't attack you on sight. To tame one, simply feed it potatoes—keep right-clicking with potatoes in your hand until it becomes your loyal companion.

Benefits of Having a Bloomed

Once tamed, your Bloomed spider will follow you and provide a unique benefit: it keeps other hostile bugs friendly. This means wild spiders and silverfish won't attack you when your Bloomed is nearby, making cave exploration and forest travel significantly safer.

Managing Your Companion

Your tamed Bloomed will stay with you as you travel and fight. It serves as both a pet and a practical tool for reducing bug-related threats. Keep potatoes in your inventory if you want to tame additional Bloomeds or need to feed your current companion.
