The Dressing System

After a meal is crafted, it can be further enhanced using the Dressing system. 1. Place the finished meal into the Ingredients section of the Cooking Table. 2. Place a Dressing (such as Jelly, Super Jelly, or Butter) into the Seasonings section. 3. The dressing will be applied to the meal, adding its specific benefits (e.g., Jump Boost from Super Jelly) to the final food item.

Configuration Options

Epicurean Gastronomy includes several toggleable mechanics for server administrators and players:

  • Omnivore Mode: If enabled, almost any block or item in the game becomes edible, with hunger values based on the item's properties
  • RPG Hunger: An option to disable the standard hunger bar, using saturation exclusively for health restoration
  • Edible Metals: Toggle whether players can consume iron and gold nuggets
