Create a Silent Waterfall with Colored Mist
Setup
Create an atmospheric waterfall that produces colored mist instead of loud splashing sounds.
1. Place a wool block of your chosen color on the ground
2. Place a water source block directly above the wool
3. Let the water flow downward from the source
Result
The water will generate mist particles that match the wool's color, creating a fog-like effect. This is ideal for building serene waterfalls, misty caves, or atmospheric water features without the constant splash sounds.
Variations
You can stack multiple colored wool blocks vertically and place water sources above each to create layered, multi-colored mist effects. Experiment with different wool colors to match your build's aesthetic. This technique works well in humid biomes where the mist blends naturally with the environment.
