Farming, Cooking, and Storage Basics

Delightful expands Minecraft's food side with fruit trees, berry bushes, crops, and a wide range of prepared dishes. You'll find new harvestables growing in the world, including berries, fruits, and vegetables that feed into its cooking system.

Knives are the mod's core tool. They come in many material variants, from basic Bone up through metals and gemstones, and are used to process ingredients and prepare food. Larger knife variants also exist for heavier work.

Cooking produces pies, teas, juices, soups, and other meals. Some foods use intermediate ingredients like Animal Fat, Animal Oil, and Roe, so processing what you gather matters as much as growing it.

Storage blocks round things out. Cabinets, crates, and sacks hold your harvest and finished dishes, with crates themed to specific fruits and sacks to specific berries. Set up a kitchen area with storage nearby to keep ingredients organized as your farm grows.
