From Workshop to Factory Floor
If you already have a working Create contraption, Ultimate Factory is aimed at turning that proof of concept into continuous, high-volume production. The shift is mostly one of organization: replace manual feeding with automated input, buffer intermediate products so one slow stage does not stall the rest, and make sure power delivery can handle every machine running at once.
Redundancy matters at factory scale. Running parallel copies of a bottleneck stage often helps more than over-engineering a single machine. Keep each line segment independently switchable so you can shut down part of the factory for maintenance without stopping everything.
Since Ultimate Factory's individual blocks and items are not documented on this wiki, verify each component's behavior in game before committing to a large build. Prototype a single module, measure its throughput, then replicate it. This keeps mistakes cheap and makes expansion predictable.
