Place and Power Anchors
Anchors are heavy blocks that lock your ship in place when powered by redstone. Position them on the underside or rear of your vessel, then connect a redstone line from a lever, button, or signal source. When activated, the anchor deploys and stops your ship dead—useful for parking or emergency stops.
Use Buoys for Stability
Buoys are floating blocks that improve your ship's stability on water. Attach them to the hull's sides or bottom to increase buoyancy and prevent tipping. More buoys mean better flotation, especially for heavy ships with cargo or multiple passengers.
Combine for Water Control
For reliable water navigation, use buoys to keep your ship level and stable, then deploy anchors when you need to stop quickly or hold position against currents. This combination works well for large cargo ships or multi-deck vessels.
Retractable Sails
Add Retractable Sails to catch wind and push your boat forward passively. Use Sail Pulleys to control when sails extend or retract, letting you adjust speed without touching thrusters.
