How to Use Cosmetic Armor

Wearing Armor as a Visual Override

Cosmetic Armor adds four dedicated slots, provided through Curios or Trinkets depending on your setup. These slots do not replace your real armor — they sit alongside it and control only what other players see.

To use it, open the Curios/Trinkets inventory screen and place armor pieces into the four cosmetic slots. Whatever you put there becomes your visible appearance, while your actual equipped armor keeps providing its normal protection and stats. This means you can wear your strongest gear for gameplay and still look however you like.

Because the slots are cosmetic only, the items inside them do not grant defense, durability loss, or enchantment effects. Removing an item from a cosmetic slot simply returns your visible appearance to your real armor. If a piece looks wrong or does not show, confirm it is placed in a cosmetic slot rather than a normal armor slot.
