Understanding the Wand Tiers and Cores
Construction Wand adds tiered construction wands that extend block placement and destruction across large areas. The tier determines how much area a wand can affect, with higher tiers covering more blocks per use. The listed wands are Stone, Iron, Diamond, and Infinity, progressing from the most limited reach to the most expansive.
The mod also includes two special variants built around cores: the 
Angel Wand Core and the 
Destruction Wand Core. The Angel variant relates to placement, letting you extend blocks outward in the same spirit as the standard wands but with its own behavior. The Destruction Wand Core relates to breaking, extending destruction across an area rather than a single block.
In practice, you choose a wand tier for the size of the area you want to affect, then pick a core variant when you want placement or destruction to behave differently from the standard wands. The cores are the mod's way of separating those two special functions from the ordinary tiered wands.
