Crafting and configuring
First, craft a charged explosive using your crafting table. Once you have one in your inventory, hold it and right-click to open the configuration GUI. This interface lets you set three dimensions:
- Width: controls the east-west spread of the explosion
- Height: controls the vertical spread (up and down)
- Depth: controls the north-south spread of the explosion
Adjust these values to match your intended blast size, then close the GUI.
Placing and detonating
Place the explosive on any surface—floor, wall, or ceiling. A red rectangle preview will appear showing your explosion's footprint. Verify this matches your target area.
To start the countdown timer, either:
- Right-click the placed explosive
- Hold a redstone torch in your offhand while placing it (this auto-starts the timer)
- Activate it with a redstone signal
The explosive will detonate after the countdown completes.
