How to Use Carry On

Picking Up and Carrying Blocks and Entities

Carry On lets you pick up blocks and entities by hand and carry them around while keeping their contents intact. To pick something up, look at it and use the mod's carry action (by default, sneak while interacting). Your character then holds the object in front of them, and you can walk, jump, and move normally while carrying it.

Chests and similar containers keep everything stored inside them, so you can relocate a full chest without emptying it first. Mobs and other entities can also be picked up this way, which makes moving villagers or animals between pens easy.

To put the object down, use the carry action again while aiming at a valid spot. It is placed where you are looking. If you want to wear a carried block on your head instead of holding it, use the same carry action while your hands are already occupied with that block.

If carrying does not work, check that you are aiming directly at the block or entity and that your hands are free.
