Preserving Sheep Colors During Transport
Capture nets are perfect for moving dyed sheep because they preserve the exact color and dye status. This is crucial if you're building a color-coordinated sheep farm or moving rare color variants.
Capturing and Relocating Colored Sheep
1. Locate your colored sheep in the world or at another base.
2. Hold an empty net and right-click on the sheep to capture it.
3. Hover over the net in your inventory to see the sheep's color displayed in the tooltip. This confirms the dye color was preserved.
4. Travel to your destination farm with the net in your inventory.
5. Right-click on a solid block to release the sheep. It will spawn with its original color completely intact.
6. Repeat for each colored sheep you want to move.
Building a Color Farm
- Capture multiple dyed sheep of different colors and release them in the same pen.
- Breed them together to create new color combinations.
- The net remembers each sheep's exact color, so your palette stays consistent across relocations.
