Breed Animals Efficiently by Gathering Pairs
Using Nets to Set Up Breeding Pairs
Capture nets let you quickly gather two animals of the same type and bring them together for breeding, without the hassle of leads or herding.
Gathering and Breeding
1. Find two animals of the same species in the wild or from different locations.
2. Capture the first animal by right-clicking with an empty net.
3. Capture the second animal with another empty net.
4. Travel to your breeding area—a pen, farm, or enclosed space.
5. Release both animals by right-clicking on solid blocks. They'll spawn close together.
6. Feed them their preferred food (seeds for chickens, carrots for pigs, wheat for cows, etc.) to trigger breeding.
7. The parents will produce offspring that inherit their traits.
Efficiency Tips
- Capture animals in pairs to reduce trips.
- Use enclosed spaces to prevent animals from wandering away after release.
- Baby animals are also captured perfectly, so you can move entire family groups if needed.
